Went to see this exhibition, selected from the textile collections at Historic Huguenot Street. Featured thirty coverlets woven from cotton and wool on water-powered looms in small factories across the mid-Hudson Valley during the first half of the 19th century. Seeing these textiles in person allows one a vast amount of respect and awe at the skill and vision of a historic craftsperson.
